Got any gossip? Tip off the Taxiwallah: Veat
I'm a big fan of Quorn, a soya product that you can use in cooking instead of meat. In the UK its widely available but here in Al Ain you'll be hard pushed to find it. Then the other day I was browsing the freezers in 'Al Ain City Centre' and I came across 'Veat'.
It's like Quorn but more exotic. Tonight we're having 'Pandan Chicken' as seen in the photo.
You can also get chunks of it to skewer and put on the BBQ.
AND it's low in fat too!

Next time you are in Dubai, you can pick up some Quorn at Choithram's near Safa Park or Spinney's Mirdiff.
