Two gentlemen (you can only see one) take time out to enjoy an Al Ain mini roundabout. This is a common sight in our city; sometimes you will see whole families picnicking on a roundabout which Al Ain has many. Sorry about the quality of the snap. Camera phone combined with nervous photographer. I tried to zoom and edit on Picasa as much as I could.

I wondered about this when I was in the UAE. I had never seen it anywhere else.
Certainly not outside the realm of posibilities...but the smell from the cars and noise and activity around you might be a drag, or a bit overstimulating.
Or maybe there is something to that, being in the center of it all. Could be worth trying at least once. no?
Maybe try a few pictures from the other side ?
Ive lived in alain all my life but never seen a whole family picnicking ! ive seen some indian tourists taking photos, labours taking a nap but definitely not a whole family
But who knows u taxi drivers c more than most of us
