About Me
1992 Nissan Sunny. Pink seat covers, no rear seat belts, jangly chain on gearstick and plastic roses on parcel shelf. Loves many things in life but hates egocentric people.

UN SALUDO.
it was really getting hard to find taxis in Al Ain these days, many times I had an argue with these Pakistani drivers, who want to take more money but not turning their meters on,they will ask you to pay what they want and will tell you that meter is not working,or will ask you to go down in the middle of nowhere if you refuse to pay, immagine al noor hosp,to hilton hotel would be ten dirhams, there are lots and lots of very rude taxi drivers in al ain, really, sometimes they won't go to the place you want simply because of too many HUMPS on the road,i hope the authority won't IGNORE this very bad habit of al ain taxi drivers, one time the driver ask me to go down because I don't speak ARABIC,from Carrefour i had lots of loads to put at the back of the car but instead of helping me,he just stretched his arms with the key indicating me to open it,i dont mind paying a bit more as long as he is well mannered and helpful to the customers, do I have my point?PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS,AT LEAST EDUCATE THEM AND TRAIN THEM HOW TO BE A GOOD HUMAN BEING.THANKS
I was in Bahrain for the first time last week, and a local told me that only nationals were allowed to work as taxi drivers. That made sense, since no one was honking.
why did you stop writing...... I loved your blog
